Referring to your telegram of the 8th of January
in which you informed me that the Colonial Nursing Association were unable to say when they would be able to recommend candidates for appointments on the Nursing Staff of this Colony. I have
the honour to invite your attention to the enclosed copy of
questions put by Mr. H. E. Pollock, K.C., at the last meeting
of the Legislative Council and particularly to the statements
made in question No. 1 and to the Colonial Secretary's reply
thereto, copy enclosed.
2.
As the Colonial Nursing Association appears to
have been able to secure candidates for the Peak Hospital in
this Colony and for other Colonies, I shall be glad to learn
whether they can assign any reason for their want of success in
the case of the Medical Department of this Colony.
I have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your most obedient,
humble servant,
Ann
